E3cubestore is an awesome and simple goal: to make cubing more fun and more affordable to cubers worldwide!
E3cubestore is run by two average (well not extremely average) teenage cubers who have a dream for the cubing community.
History:
About 3 years ago, Evan Jennings was lent a Rubik's cube and he looked up a way to solve it. He brought the cube to a social event where Elijah Cross saw him messing with the cube and was interested. A couple weeks later, we had started cubing proficiently.
A while later, we started exchanging ideas about a Rubik's cube business. Elijah was especially impressed with twistypuzzles.com and Tony Fisher's amazing mods. We figured we could chip in and buy a bunch of 3x3x3's to mod and start ourselves a business!
Several months later, we ordered 32 Dian Sheng 3x3x3's with 50 dollars contributed by each of us. Somewhere after this, Ezra, another cuber started cubing with us and joined the business. We modded those cubes and sold them and continued selling mods for nearly a year when in late 2010, we decided to start selling cubes retail online.
We started out with around a dozen products for sale, none of them were especially worth buying because the wholesaler we found had a very poor selection of products. By February 2011 we were beginning to become discouraged when in March we broke through and found a wholesaler that provided all the great and popular speedcubes at good prices. We consider the first order from that supplier to be the legit start to E3cubestore, though the business of E3cubes Mind and Logic is much older.
Ever since March of 2011 we have been expanding our stock and growing to become the best store in the USA and we aren't done with progressing. We have plenty of fresh ideas for the cubing community so support us and we will continue to reward you with great cubing experiences.
As of Sunday April 21st 2013:
Evan Jennings has purchased E3cubestore and is now the sole proprietor. Silicube has broken off as its own entity, and is owned and operated by Elijah Cross.
